Default ABS light on, cant turn off traction control.

Problem used to be the trac light was always lit, meaning it was off.

I unhooked the battery while I did a pulley swap and when I hooked it back up, now I have no control over the trac control, but it's not lit up anymore.

Would a place like autozone be able to scan the computer and see what the ABS light means?

Yes, as of recently I believe some are able to do so. I'd say it would be a speed sensor on one of the wheels, but not 100% sure.

Ok I'm getting this problem now too in my '02 GT. So "cleaning" the wheel speed sensors can help fix the problem? How do you clean a sensor? Just brush the dirt off them?

I had the same problem, got some electrical connector cleaner, cleaned the plugs for the speed sensors and haven't had any lights since. just something you can try.
