Default 2001 GT clockspring replacement

Does anyone know if the clockspring replacement is the same for a 2001 GT as it is for a 2005 to 2011.

This is all I could find on replacing the clockspring but it's for a later Mustang. http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=489&viewfile=Clockspring.pdf

At its extreme it is making what you want from what you can get.
