I would test the switch where it get exposed to wetness from rain when window is down.

Dont understand why car co. put the switch there.
They should put them in the center console like the Corvettes (C5)

also check the fuse or relay

The motor's in electric windows go out too. Usually it will be over time though, not just all of a sudden one day it doesn't work.

when you try to roll the window up or down when it's stuck does your dome light dim? If so the switch is fine but the motor is locked up. While hitting the window switch on and off give the door panel a few pounds of the fist to see if you can loosen up the contacts. Motors that sit for awhile will do this. Happens a lot with rear window wiper motors *** well.

You can pull apart the door panel where the switches are and swap the switches around. If it still doesn't work it is probably a bad motor. When my motor went bad it would go down but I only had a 50/50 shot and getting it back up. I also had a switch go bad and the was much more immediate. One day it worked and the next it didn't. You can get both motor and switch at places like autozone so you don't have to go to Ford for them once you figure out which part is bad. Good luck
