Default SCT XCAL2 not getting power?????

This may not be specific to this forum but I know alot of people here use SCT so thought I'd try here first before I e-mail SCT.

So my Xcal2 is not turning on when plugged in. I thought it might be my cars OBDII port so tried in my F150 and had the same problem. If I wiggle the wire sometimes it will then turn on. Sometimes it wont so it must be a loose wire somewhere. Any one else have this problem and what did you do? I dont want to have to buy a new handheld because I'd rather sell it and go with sniper tuning and a wideband so I can learn to do my own stuff. Does anyone know if SCT will fix this problem and how much? I wouldnt mind doing it myseld but I dont want to mess it up. Any suggestions.

Thanks so much

Also, the wire that goes into the Xcal 2 is knida loose. Has been since the day I bought it used over 3 years ago. Where the boot part around the end of the wire should be snug in the plastic Xcal2 casing is slightly loose

I had a no power issue with mine which I just got. Had to send the whole thing back to SCT. Turned out to be a bad cord. Don't know about what cost might be, mine was under warranty. I would call SCT and see what they say.
