Easy fix to this problem haha. If your car is modded alot, then don't do this.

1. Sell your car
2. Buy a manual car

Why does everyone say that? Just because its a pain in the *** to swap over or are there huge issues that arise?

It's not a bad swap. If you can drop your trans, or in this case don't mind paying that guy $500 to do the swap, you can do this swap without much of a problem. I went manual to auto and it was very easy.

I swapped in an auto because my car was a cruise around, drag car. It won't ever see a road course.

If you plan on taking your car to road courses then a manual is a much better choice. If you just cruise around, DD your car and want 1/4 mile performance than keep the auto.

Stall and gears will really wake up an auto and are the first thing I would do.

The auto to 5 speed swap is very simple, but as others said, it is not really worth the money. I swapped to a 5 speed in my car, but looking back on it, wish I just would have looked harder to find one with a 5 speed. It is 100% the cost that makes it not worth it...
