I really never looked into the tork tech kits, but i'm just curious if they're so expensive then why do people buy them? From what i've heard the Kenne Bell kits are better overall.

yea, i'm not gunna say the TT stuff is a scam, but they really like to "hide" their prices for a reason. they know that anyone with a calculator would run away once they added everything up.

hmmm, used M112 and peiced together kit vs new full kit KB2.1 for practically the same price? KB all the way.

there's a reason cobra's dump them M112's... they're called (H)Eatons for a reason.

it does allow you to spread the cost out tho, so you could buy everything seperately, instead of a full up 100% cost upfront.

Last I heard TT kits (for the Terminator M112) where much less. The upgraded kits with newer style blowers get you into close price numbers with the KB, but the power matches as well.

The reason Cobra owner's dump them doesn't mean it's not a good blower. It's enough blower to make big numbers for a V6 or GT.

That's the truth. Its been a while since I've dealt with a new tt setup so maybe the prices have dropped by now. I just remember how ridiculous they were when they were first coming out. Have they made any changes to them? I know I hated the installation of the older ones and that you only got the manifold for what you paid and it was up to you to get the rest with no help.

about a year ago i was doing some quotes for a buddy who asked, they wanted like 1600 for the non-intercooled manifold kit and 2200 for the intercooled manifold kit.

when you compare what you get from a KB kit, when i priced everything out, it came to 4200-4500$. and was with mostly used parts. at that point i told the guy to just get a used KB, go with a vortech, or just strap on a bottle and spend the rest of the cash on suspension upgrades.

their prices could have come down from then though, and i'm sure used part prices are a bit better now which could help the overall cost of the kit.

the other problem you run into is, what do you need to finish off the kit? its the little missed things that pile up real quick to add into the price that really get annoying. where as the KB kit is a 1 stop shop. just click the button, enter your info, and its shipped to your door. install then go... dont get me wrong, i love DIY parted kits. thats why i own an on3 kit. i wanted the challenge. if i didnt i woulda went hellion.
