Default Rear Wheel Bearings 1999 Mustang

I have a friend at work, and he has a '99 Mustang V8. He is trying to replace the wheel bearings on the car, since the car is making a sound like breaks are dragging.

He replaced the bearings where the wheel was coming from, however it is still making noise. He is trying to figure out if there are 2 sets of bearings on each side of the rear axle.

I would help him out, but my knowledge on this generation of Mustangs isn't that great, so I thought i'd come to the experts.

Thanks!

Edit: typo

Could be the carrier bearings. Does it make more noise when turning? Double check the brakes too.

Just asked him, he said it doesn't make more sound when it is turning. Just one constant sound.

Follow behind him and make sure his wheels aren't wobbling. A bent axle can create that metal on metal noise.
