I wasn't planning on upgrading my throttle body now but I found a local guy selling a BBK 75mm TB and a Trick Flow intake elbow to match the larger throttle body, just wondering what I should look into paying for these?

also he has a 90mm MAF sensor...


I'm pretty sure I could get a good price on these items but just wondering what you guys think would be fair ----> awesome deal.

For me, used parts are worth 50% or less of new.... As a rule of thumb.

Just heard from him hes asking $100 for the TB and Elbow. I'll give him $75 or $80?

as far as the maf ill find out later when he gets back to me. I don't need it I told him but if the price is right i'd grab it for future use.

Ask for the lowest you feel fair and go up from there if you must.

How much is a used 90mm MAF worth? can't you get them out of a salvage yard?

That I am not sure of. And as for a salvage yard, good luck. I don't know how they are in Canada but in both places I have lived, they never have any Mustang stuff. I guess in a way that is good... Lol

You might be able to look on eBay too for wreaked Mustangs. Those auctions where they are selling the engine out of a mutilated car. Send the seller a message and ask if you can get the specific part you are looking for. A lot of times you may be surprised with what they may have laying around.

100 dollars for the t/ and plenum is a really fair price. id go for it, unless you have a lot of other mods though a 90mm maf is just over kill.

yea i mean i usually try to low ball on most deals, but honestly that guy has low balled himself, i would say @ $50 a piece, tb and plenum, thats a helluva deal. the bbk tb retails for between $180-220, and the plenum between $105-120.

why do you want a 90mm MAF? if you're not goin FI or major head/cam work, what's the use?
