Default Wont start after vortech install

After installing my vortech kit my car wont start.
It will crank but wont start up. I can hear the pump turn on and there's gas in lines. (I depressed the valve on the fuel rails and gas came out)
Cant figure out why it wont start

I dont have a tune for it yet but that shouldnt stop it from starting right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Jordan

Okay, So I eventually got it to start by holding the throttle open but it idled really rough (Like it had a big cam and would stall if i didnt hold it open) than it started smoking so I shut it off...

What would be causing this?
Too much fuel? Miss firing?
Lack of proper tune?
All of the above? haha

You need a tune, your a/f ratio is ****ED.

It was to my understanding that Vortech kits came with supplied tune to get the car driveable?

What size MAF and injectors do you have installed?

ps: where abouts in alberta ya from? I just moved back to Ontario from Edmonton about 11 months ago

I agree it's your tune. Get that and you'll be alright.

It comes with a voucher for a tune but you have to send the ecu to them and they'll tune it and send it back. I was just planning on going straight for a dyno tune.

Using the stock MAF and I believe they're 38# injectors? Whichever comes with the kit.

I think I may of broken something when I put the fuel pump in because my gauge is saying its below empty even-though I just put 20L in...

I'm from calgary

Do you guys know where I'd be able to get an email tune for it just to get it to the dyno?

ALright what u broke is your fuel sending unit which is that levr u prolly bent. But that wont effect the actual pump.

You need to get a different maf...at least a lightning maf...your going to peg the **** outta that stock maf real quick.

If it were me id just tow it to the dyno...then u dont have to worry about fkn ur **** up
