Default 99 GT question

I was talking to a friend about his mustang, and he swears that is 35th anniversary auto has a svt motor in it. He is the second owner, and his brother in law was the first, and he bought it from the dealership. It does have some embroidering on the passenger airbag with their names. I was thinking of buying it from him and wanted to make sure he knew what he was talking about, because i had not heard of this on this year mustang.
