Default 03 GT 4th gear grind

Ive had my Mustang for about a month and so far ive noticed that it grinds whenever i go for 4th gear,i managed to get it in gear once but only after i was doing about 90 in 3rd. Lately ive just skipped 4th so I dont keep grinding on the input shaft. Does this mean my synchros are bad,if so would a rebuild kit be recommended or should i just get a remaned transmission? How much would these two options set me back plus install on average? And also i have Royal Purple ATF in it and i have 4.10 gears if that matters

How many miles do you have? My second and third do some grinding mostly when cold. Ive also heard that it also has alot to do with the actual amount of ATF you use. Originaly Tremec called for x amount of fluid( dont remeber off the top of my head) but using less actualy helped resolve the issue. However that being said when i reduced the amount of fluid ( I replaced with Mobile ATF) it didnt get much better. But then again my tranny has seen some racing and abuse so meh not a biggy unless it gets unbearable.

It has about 110,3xx,and i found synchros and ring kits on astroperformance.com,do you think its worth it to just order another 4th gear synchro and rings and just get it replaced? my other gears feel fine

Tremec is now calling for the fluid level to be 3.17

I'd change the transmission fluid to see if that helps any. I run 2 quarts of the motorcraft mercon 5, and a bottle of lucas automatic transmission stop slip in mine. Although everyone has their opinion about what fluid to use..
