Hi! I just brought a 2000 mustang gt and i my goal is to get up to about 360 hp so i can take on my friends clk 55 amg. Im thinking of a stroker rebuild and exhaust upgrade. Can anyone point me in the right direction to achieve my goals?

thats gonna be more expensive on the 2v than running a centri. Esp trying to hit 360rwhp n/a through a 2v. Ask around on how many have done that n/a on these 2vs and how much it cost and how streetable it is vs picking up a blower. to each is own though

360 to the wheels NA on a 2V will be expensive and very difficult to achieve.
I would say more like 325 is pretty doable, but beyond that it simply isn't very practical.

If you just want to be able to outrun your buddy's car, add a nitrous kit and be done with it. That would be the cheapest way to beat him.

EDIT: LOL Rockwell and I were typing replies at the same time and saying about the same thing...

I am hoping to be in the area, but have CA smog issues with which to contend. My build is supposed to get me to 350 HP, but have some serious doubts:

* 5.0 stroked Livernois longblock with zero-balanced forged internals for 350 HP
* TFS intake
* TFS ported/polished heads
* 24# injectors
* MAF
* Custom Canton race pan (extra-shallow) for ground clearance
* starter motor
* Water pump
* Upgraded radiator
* Power steering pump
* Serpentine belt
* Gaskets
* Tensioner & pully
* Idler pully
* Innovators West 10% under dampner
* McCloud dual-friction 10.5" clutch
* solid steering shaft
* Aluminum flywheel
* 26 spline input shaft
* Throwout bearing
* Pilot bearing
* Clutch quadrant and cable
* Predator tuner
* Confirm passes CA smog

Just copy/paste from my build thread, so some stuff is obviously not power related. Is going in this Winter, so if you don't make a decision on which way to go before next year, check back in with me and will have some HP/T numbers.

I see. So 325 is my best bet on a naturally aspirated engine. Nitrous is an easy soultion but i want to whoop his *** at anytime. So what should do to reach the the 325? And whenever i get the supercharger what would be the best compression ratio?

Stock comp ratio for the blower will be just fine.
