Default Ballast mounting location for fog lights

Hey Guys,

im getting HIDs for my fog lights ( already got one for my headlights ). While i was installing them for the headlights, i poked around looking around where i could mount the ballast for the fog lights and didnt really see a place for them.

where did you mount the ballast for your HIDs for your fog lights on your 1999-2004 mustang?

4300k starts tohave an amber tint to it, i wouldnt go any lower than 4500k, ive had a lot of experience with DDM tunnings 55W 5000K kits on several vehicles and in my eyes its the whitest and brightest.

WHoa 55w for fogs? Hey let me know if you ever run into problems because from everywhere i have read, the small fog light housing will heat up to excessive temps and burn out the light...anyway I got a ziptie and tied the ballast to the headlight wiring. I even believe i could have ziptied it to the intake hole near the fender (for one side).
