Default timing chain slack??

is this normal?? there seems to be WAAY too much slack on my driver side timing chain (the one on the straight arm) the part that goes under the tensioner is nice and tight and the whole passenger side is tight as well. What gives? If it matters this is a new motor i just put in and havent started it yet but just noticed it when i was putting on the timing cover. please watch Vid below

Normal. Spin it a few times and it should tighten up at one point during the spin. You have to remember that the tensioners are hydraulic, they need oil flowing through them to tension the chain. I thought something was wrong too the first time I saw it, then I had someone crank the car while I watched and once the oil gets to the tensioner, it tightens up.
