Default recommendations on FPR & Rails?

Converting to Return instead of returnless, i need a recommendation for some cheap rails and adjustable fuel pressure regulator (1:1 boost ref).

right now i'm looking at the AEM 25-302BK, i can get it for about 109 shipped to my door. dunno on the quality, cant find alot of reviews for FPRs

havent a clue on fuel rails yet, but i want em as cheap as possible (while still within a decent quality), and not have the stock ECU fuel pressure sensor "port" or whatever you wanna call it.

also, i cant decide on how i wanna run it, i know i wanna do 2 walbro GSL392 pumps fed from the sump, but do merge the 2 pumps into a single large line, or do i run 2 smaller lines then merge them closer to the FPR? I'll be running aluminum hard line for the most part, with flexible line where needed.

My complete fuel system consists of: sumped tank, dual 300lph walbro pumps, inline fuel filter, twin 6 feed lines feeding each Edelbrock rail, rails going into Fuelab adjustable FPR, single 6 return line and 60# injectors.

interesting. with the inline fuel filter, are you just running a single filter pre-pump? what micron rating?

will the edelbrock rails fit a stock plastic intake? i plan on getting the vic jr eventually, or make a custom sheet metal one, but for now its stock plastic for me.

and are your pumps mounted at the top of the tank?? from that rear pictures its hard to tell where your pumps are, but it looks like they're high, which i've heard can reduce the life of pumps?

Yes, single filter pre pump, 100 micron

I could be wrong, but I think the Edelbrock rails can be fabbed to work with a stock PI manifold...but if you do plan on going with a Vic Jr in the future your options are the Edelbrock Rails or MMR's rails.

My pumps are mounted the same level as the sump -- the lines just are routed above my tank and come back down to the rails, heres some better pics I found:

how much line do you think you ran total doing a dual -6 setup? i'm going mostly hardline (probably mild steel) w/ 37 degree AN flares, and aeroquip pushlock or similiar nylon braided line in areas that require flex. Havent been under the car to get measurements just yet.

ended up ordering the AEM, got it shipped for 109, grabbed the edelbrock rails from AM.com, i'll just make brackets to fit them to the stock manifold for now.

now all i need is a filter, various fittings, and the pumps. planning on dual walbro GSL392's since i can get em for 100 each.

nice, sounds like your just about there

hmmm, this is just off the top of my head but if I were to take a stab I would say you will need atleast 25-30 feet of -6 line

doing the math, i'll be able to basically replicate the Glenns 1000 rwhp kit for about half the price...
figuring 3x 9 feet runs of line, so 30 should cover me, then aeroquip braided or socketless for the rest.

^thats the benefit from buying "kits"

exact reason I didnt just buy a forged shortblock from a company, I built mine for a fraction of the price
