Flowmaster exhaust

Magnapacks buddy...Magnapacks.
I did a crap load of research before getting my catback/mufflers. Flow's sound good, yet don't quite have that roar I was looking for. LM1's are effing loud as hell but don't sound all that great IMO. Magnapacks have a good muscle car sound like flows but are a bit more aggressive sounding at WOT.

Here is mine with stock manifolds, midpipe and SLP LM1s. Warm start up and rev. Hands down best sounding catback with stock manifolds/midpipe.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
We all have different ideas of what sounds good. There is no way I would ever run what some guys run on their cars, but they absolutely love the sound. I had an O/R X-pipe with 2 chamber flows for about 2 days before I had to have cats welded in to shut it up. You have to really like a loud and raspy sound to dig the O/R X and chambered muffler set-up (IMHO). Some guys do like it though.
OP has to listen to some different set-ups for himself and decide what he likes. Simply buying an exhaust based on what someone else says they like, is a recipe for disaster.

I'll change catbacks when I get a new midpipe, but for now, I like this sound.
