Default Disconnecting upper fuel lines

Any ideas how to disconnect the fuel lines that run from the fuel rails to the connectors on the passenger side (98 GT). They have a forked clip like thing that I have removed and they will not pull off.

Maybe I'm not using enough force? Maybe there is a special tool for it.....Also, I'm not refering to the quick disconnects at the fuel rail. Those are already disconnected.

I can get pics tommorow if anyone feels .

There is a special tool. Its called a spring lock tool. I know because I just found out on my 01 GT. Im pretty sure the 98 has the same, 1/2 inch line right?

I think I know which one you are talking about.

If it's these that your talking about I don't think those are the ones.

That is what I was talking about. Sorry. Are you talking about the line that connects between the two rails?

I appreciate the attempted help man. I'm actually talking about the lines come up through the inner fender. Yours could be different as your car is returnless. I'll just have to get a pic in the AM.

I don't want to sound like I'm calling you out or anything Uber, but I do indeed beg to differ. There is one line coming in and one line going out. To my knowledge '98 is a split year for fuel systems. Give me 10 mins, I'll get a pic.

If that's returnless I should question the rest of my knowledge.

The third picture contains the connections I am not sure how to deal with.

Those are easy to take off. You just pry out on the triangle part of the white clip. it is just a retaining clip. You might have to push down on the hose a little to get the clip to slid out easier
