Cobra caliper swap

Cobra caliper swap
I knew my car didn't have traction control , but did research and found out abs and traction control was an option on 2004 models . I looked for an abs control module and didn't see one. My question is , if I want to do the cobra front brake swap does it matter if I have abs or not ?

Makes no difference if you have ABS or not... but would ask you to consider saving that money and looking at my Brakes Upgrade thread. You can have 100% as much stopping power for much less cost and trouble.

Very nice write up !!! Was wanting the best of both worlds with better brakes and appearance factor. As you said though there is not much benefit to a 600 dollar cobra upgrade , when I can improve on what I have.

Thanks and correct
Also, remember that your brakes are ONLY as good as your tires. If your brakes can lock up or trigger ABS sensors, they will not stop you faster/better than what you already have! The upgrades in my guide really only help to maintain stopping power when they get hot and that is about it. Sure, with good pads, one does not require as much pedal pressure to slow down, but brakes are about heat and how to addess it
