Yes, his numbers are VERY good for his set-up.
Without cams I would have guessed he would make around 360 on 8lbs boost.
He should be real happy with those numbers.

I would think blower cams would gain him another 45rwhp... but I can't really believe that set-up would get him 470rwhp on only 8lbs boost.

Its a d1sc not a p1sc, I made 400/400 @ 10lbs on my p1sc so I'm really not surprised at his power at 8lbs at all

What am I missing that explains how he got 25rwhp more and 52lb/ft more with 8# than you did with 10# ???

Just trying to understand how this all works...

The d1sc is the bigger blower than the p1sc so requires less boost to put out more since its not working as hard

So it is a parasitic loss issue.
A p1sc requires a lot more power rotate it and generate 8# of boost than a d1sc does, so the net gain is a lot lower. Is that correct?
