im trying to hook my stock fuel pump to a constant 12v source on a switch...before everyone starts chirping me on how this wont work for my computer and engine, im carb'd not fuel injection and just want to wire this in the mean time until i get my sumped higher flow fuel system setup...coming out of grommet in the truck is 3 14ga wires, brown/pink, red/black, black/orange...there are also 2-3 smaller gauge wires which i believe to be the sending unit...i read the brown with pink is the hot 12v power for the pump and i connected this and it did nothing. i also read the black with orange is ground so i grounded this and it did nothing...which wire is the red with black stripe? is that the ground instead? thanks
