I did put my ear up to all speakers, and all are producing sound. Is it possible for the amps to be going bad and still put out sound to the bigger speakers but no, or very little bass?

First you need to tell us a bit more about your stereo. Is it completely 100% stock?

Interesting news. I found the amps behind my back seats, and found there was a 4 prong gray plug halfway between the 2 amps that was unplugged. I plugged it back together and turned on the car.

This made the radio produce no noise what so ever. I adjusted the volume around and heard an occasional popping sound coming from the speakers. At one volume level I could hear very low very distorted music coming from the rear speakers only. Unplugging that brought it back to my normal no bass music.

It looks like there is some non-stock wiring back there. I'm pretty sure the previous owner had an aftermarket stereo system and went back to stock before selling. My thoughts are 1 or both amps are bad or I have a wiring issue. How do I test that?
