Default 96 gt cooling fan issues. Need some Help

Hello all. I'm a new forum member and need some help. I have spent hours on this, and other forums. I know this topic has been done to death. That's because There are a ton of questions and diagnostic help but hardly anyone follows up with what fixed their problems with the fans. Well, hears my problem. My fan won't come on even when the ac is turned on. The 60 amp fuse is fine and I have replaced the ccrm. I have also replaced both temp sensors on the crossover with no luck. The fan only comes on when I disconnect the sensor behind the thermostat housing. I tried testing the fan with 12v source and it works. Both low and high speed. But I noticed that I was not getting power to the harness connection itself. All I did was use a test lamp from batt to the connector engine on or off no power. Tried looking for grounds but could not find them. If anyone could please give me some advise I would appreciate it. This is also my first Ford ever. Please help!!

Thanks Rob

Follow the wiring harness back and see if you can find a spot where it's damaged. I've been looking into fan/electric issues myself this week. Seems as though several types of problems happen resulting in no fan operation. I've read everything from bad wiring, bad connections/melted plugs and fuse issues to bunt up fan motors.

hey Thanks Matt. This is driving me crazy! I just checked the ac today and found that the low pressure switch was bad. I replaced it and the ac compressor came on as well as the fan now. At least the fan comes on now with the ac on. More testing of course. Do you have any ideas where any grounds might be for the fan? Also I replaced the ccrm with one from ebay. Do you think it could be bad as well? What are the chances right?

Not yet. I'm actually planning on pulling my '98 apart tomorrow after work. It's been giving me problems for a week and I just haven't had time to dig into it yet.
