From what it looks like there is no particular torque. You have to remove the carrier assembly and with a new crush sleeve tighten it down until the sleeve starts to crush, then take measurements of the torque it takes to turn the pinion gear. Should be somewhere around 10-12 ftlbs. Once that is done then you can install the carrier assembly and go from there. Man I hope this gets starighten out the right way soon...so disappointed right now. If I had the room to do it myself I would have.
I'm sure your tech friend will know what needs to be done.
