Default Right Fog Light Issue

A few weeks ago I noticed that my passenger side fog light was out. Thinking the bulb simply went out, I got a replacement Sylvania 893 as usual, popped it in, and it and it still doesn't work.

A potentially related thing I've noticed: Intermittently for the last few weeks, my red battery dash light will come on, sometimes go away, and come back on at random times. According to the Ford manual this means that the battery is not charging properly? I'm thinking I have electrical issues.

Any insight to this would be much appreciated.

Get a voltmeter check your battery it should be 12 or higher and then start your car when the alternator is charging/running it should be 14.4-14.9 if the alternator is doing its job and then while its running turn your a/c on full blast and turn you radio and lights on(put a electrical load on) and with the car running it still should stay in the mid 14s. Go through those stages and see whats up. Doesnt have to be an expensive voltmeter they start at $12 at walmart and its something you will keep and use for many things and keep it for years. Pick one up and test things out you can also test your connector for the fog to see if its getting power. I dont know the steps for that bc I never ddi it but it should also be simple to test a connector for power! hope that helps!

Great, thanks.

So if in fact power is not getting to my right fog, do you know how to correct this?

I have no experience on tracking headlight or foglight shortages if thats the case. First make sure it isnt something as simple as a furse or relay im not sure if each side has its own realy or fuse or if they have just one fuse or relay for both together.

The fog lamps operate through a single relay with a single set of contacts. If one lights and the other does not it is a wiring problem--check the ground connection first.

It's G103 on the passenger side by the headlight:
