A tune is the only change needed if swapping from 19# to 24#?
No MAF change needed?

I know I am running my 19# quite hard and I'm still pondering an upgrade of injectors to 24#. The math says my 280-285rwhp (335flywheel) is putting my injectors on the edge.

No, you neednt do anything with the MAF. Not required to get a matching 24lb/hr one or anything like that if thats what you mean.

I'm in central jersey (mcguire afb)

I've also got a set of green tops, but i cant just part with those, need at least 150. also in need of pintle caps/O-rings.
I'm up in Albany, looks like I can get a set of pintle caps/o-rings for about $20 at advanced auto.

sounds 'bout right. IIRC i found them for about 3$ per injector online, so $20 is on the mark. my local FLAPS dont stock them nor can i special order them. I got a set of 65'ers in EV6 now, so the 42's and 21's are just sittin. might use the 42's on a 6.0 LQ4.

Is your fuel still running at 40psi with the new pump?

I calculated these injectors would supply 268.8HP @ 80% duty cycle. This is flywheel HP correct?

Ford claimed the 2000GT came with 260HP, so even if my mods (CAI, Cat-back exhaust, 75mm TB/plenum, and Bama tune) made only a slight increase in HP, would I be limiting myself in the higher RPMs? Just guessing here, say my car has 280HP (flywheel), that puts the injectors at a 83% duty cycle. With a set of 24 lb/h injectors that would give me a 73% duty cycle. Is that enough of a difference to concentrate on the 24lb/h injectors exclusively?
Your calculations are correct, and in the real world you can go as high as 90% without problem, or 300 fwHP. If I was running 19s and could get a set of clean and operational 21s for $75 I'd go for it.

New pintle caps, O-rings and filterswill cost $30 or so...

Do you know why the number of discharge holes in the pintle caps varies (1 or 4 holes)? Does this change the spray pattern?

Looks like the kit (single 1.5mm discharge hole) will work regardless.

I was aware of that, and if I were doing a Mustang I would get the 4-hole caps--then again I would not buy used injectors unless they were dirt cheap, or squeaky clean/low mileage from a reliable source. If there is a problem beyond O-rings and caps it will cost $20 to $30 a pop to get them rebuilt--a false economy IMHO.

Last I knew Brothers Performance still had some of the M-9593-AA302 24 lb/h (Jetronic) units in stock for $170 a set...

Zero2005 (see above) is sending me his 21lb/h set for just the shipping (thanks again!) with only 30k miles through them. My car is approaching 100k miles, so I'm feeling comfortable putting the new ones in once I put them through a thorough cleaning and o-ring/filter replacement.

The link you posted is for the EV6 body style, will those work in replacing my EV1's if I were to upgrade?

Yup...

EV1 and EV6 are the body style, the connectors can be Jetronic/Minitimer or USCAR type--our cars the use Jetronic type connector. The FRPP M-9593-AA302 units (discontinued by FRPP nearly 2 years ago) have the Jetronic connector--I run them in my car...

There are EV1s with USCAR connectors and EV6s with Jetronic/Minitimer connectors, and vice versa...
