Mines is too but unfortunately the one thing we can't control are our streets and traffic conditions. I have a very light right foot so I feel your pain.

BTW,
I have read in more than one place that it is only beneficial in most cars to shut them off and restart them if you will be stopped and idling for at least 30 seconds. Otherwise, the fuel used to restart it will be more than you would consume idling.

Really? I thought that was commen knowledge lol and the fuel filter is definitely something else to keep changed. and keeping your air filter clean also makes a difference as well!

It really is tough to give an estimate of what any car will get mpg wise, everyone drives a little differently and everyones drive is never the same.

I was in the same boat as you were when I got my stang, going from having to pay damn near $80 a tank vs $35-$40 was about the biggest relief in the world

Don't use the cruise control. Your car will get better MPG NOT using it.
