Default Midpipe not attaching to headers

My bolts wont go on the header studs to attach the midpipe. Anyone know why? My driver side bolts went on fine but both the passenger ones wont go on.

What brand headers/midpipe do you have?

Bolts don't go on studs, nuts go on studs...

Try fitting just the nuts without the mid pipe to make sure they do thread on, make certain that with the pipe flange in place enough of the stud projects to start the nuts. You need to get the manifold and pipe flange placed together reasonably close to start the nuts.

I don't think he has headers, but is referring to the manifolds as headers--maybe not?

Could both the studs be stripped?

well its pretty easy to tell if they're stripped...you just have to look at them.

Will the nuts go on without the mid-pipe?

Does the mid pipe disconnect to 2 peices? If so disconnect and do one side at a time that's prob what is throwing it off
