Going to blow my engine?

Going to blow my engine?
I am new here and have a couple of questions about my car.
I run a 2002 Mustang GT with a Paxton Supercharger, full exhaust, required inectors, and better shoes. My engine (bone stock) is not forged and i am running about 8lbs of boost. I am trying not to sound like an idiot but am i running the chance of punching a hole in my block?
Thanks guys

Welcome to the forum. Its a kick a$$ site.
As for the amount of boost, it doesn't sound excessive to me. But, we will let one of the others here on this site answer your question. Im N/A and don't want to smear any false information.
This place is loaded with knowledge.

It's all in the tune but if properly tuned u should be fine. How much rwhp? Stock motors generally on borrowed time around 400rwhp especially if u consistley run car hard with high RPMs. Pistons and rods r the weakest link.

With just those mods you should be ok.. Your still a good amount under 400 limit. And even if you were its how often you run it.. Im pushing the stock block to the limit PSI and HP wise.. I do beat on her often though. Been strong for a year and a half now. But the car has a conservative tune.. If your tune is good you'll be fine with your power level..
how high are you spinning the car rpm wise?

Be careful... I too have a Paxton2000 on my car; I blew the motor at 411 rwhp, and that was with a fat tune. The funny thing is my motor went boom as I was turning a corner in 2nd gear@ about 40mph. It's all good now tho , my new motor is a Cobra shortblock, fully forged. The more I think about it... I don't think my tuner was being honest when he said I had a " FAT" TUNE. He has made it right though, selling me his backup Cobra Shortblock he had bought in case he blew his '03 640HP Cobra, for an excellent price. He still does most of my work for me. You should be OK running 400 Hp just keep your ears open for any knocking. Anyone who doesn't get blown might as well buy a Camry; S/C'ed and N/A is like night and day.

I am running 11lbs of boost and am putting out 400 to the wheels, but i have a auto trans. And I am currently more worried about blowing my trans then my motor
