Help on Mustang code P0500, Speed Sensor
I have a 1998 manual Mustang, with a 2002 motor. The computer is from the 1998 and the ignition is also from the 1998.
Here's the deal. I went to get the inspection but failed due to a P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction, but I went to go to get a new sensor the '98 has 2 speed sensors and the 2002 has one, the one I see is at the end of the tranny by the drive shaft, but is there another somewhere that I don't know? Cause I replaced that one about a year ago.
I will spam refresh and will answer any questions please help me out!
Something that it is doing, is that the RPM will shoot up to 2000 RPM while im at a red light, and will stay there for a while. I changed out the IACV on it.
