Damn cliffy yer the man. How do you keep up with everything since he has a 94 body, 98 trans and 02 motor? I'm already confused.

Default I have a 2002 v6 mustang with a '98 transmission in it.

Do you know how I can get my speedometer to work correctly again?

I ask because the '98 VSS produces 8 pulses per sensor shaft revolution (as it is gear driven the pulses per tranny output shaft revolution will be a function of the gear ratio).

However the '02 PCM will be expecting 12 pulses per transmission output shaft revolution unless it is reprogrammed--this could perhaps throw the P0500 DTC???
