From draw thru to blow thru
#11
I am running the drop in pmas MAF sensor.
And 97 you dont have to recirculate your air back to your Power pipe now that you are gonna be a blow thru setup. You can vent it to the atmosphere and you dont lose any performance. it makes a nice loud whistle noise if you do it that way. That is the way i have my BOV setup.
And chris- like 97 said ive never seen anyone run there BOV there, i was always told to run it pre IC to prevent compressor surge. Any reason why you ran your BOV where you have it? Not trying to bash you or anything but im just curious

Yes, before the IAC and then mount the IAC right before the TB on that bend of the pipe

now what about the ventilation hose in the valve cover that I had zip tied with the IAC line running into my power pipe? Can I still keep this running to my power pipe?
Notice how I had both my IAC line and Valve Cover ventilation line both going to my power pipe...Like I said I will mount my IAC line after my MAF, but can I keep my valve cover line still to my power pipe?

I put my bov valve after the intercooler because that's where the flange was on the on3 cold side. I've not had any compressor surge issues. May be different on a supercharged setup though. 97 you should be able to keep the valve cover vent tube connected to the powerpipe.
