What are some good things to do to the 1998 4.6 GT motor for power?
Is a computer racing chip worth it?

if you really want to wake up the car without getting into the engine put a set of 4.10 gears in it and ditch the 2.73s

well you could either take the entire 99-04 motor and drop it in or you can take 99-04 heads and intake and swap them with your stock parts. i did the pi swap with the addition of aftermarket cams. the swap will raise your compression and give you much better air flow. there is quite a bit of information on this topic.
