A forged longblock such as an mmr4.75liter good up to 750rwhp like $4799(not factoring intallation and shipping unless you install it yourself) and if you are going with a KB blower new add like another $4999 for the intercooled one here are some examples of blower cost from different stang owners http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...ower-cost.html

ill listen to these guys, its definitely easier and probably better for you to get used to the power by supercharging the stock engine. I only have 350 and thats still good for me

OP shoot for 500 rwhp its plenty of fast for a street car and u dont need a huge fuel system or heads to do so. I am still running stock tranny and rearend with no problems bur it is not a track car. If u going over 500 rwhp u will need heads, cams, big fuel system along with built tranny and rear end. In either scenario u will need a built forge short block. Good luck. 700 rwhp is just stupid for a street car it a dyno queen.

Heads are not a must. Check this link this guy with these mods "Vortech with 3.33 pulley, aftercooler, MHS stage I blower cams, MAC LT, Lethal X-pipe, SLP PowerFlo cat-back, Anderson Power Pipe, 60lb injectors, 90mm MAF, and twin super car pumps, factory bullitt intake"

Put down 517rwhp/ 456 rwtq @11psi stock longblock and that was back in June of 2011. http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...ned-today.html

Sell the gt, buy a 03/04 cobra... better looking, already good parts and you can swap a pulley and be around 500hp... you are going to put at least 7k in parts to KB the GT... why not sell the gt, and use that 7k and put yourself into a much better ride that already has a top notch 6spd and motor ready for abuse.

or you could go the centri route plenty of power potential even with the entry level blowers but for Alot less than the inercooled kb setup like the guy in the link i posted in post #17. a vortech centri blower kit with a set of blower cams would still be about $1000 less in parts than the intercooled kb kit. example V1 S trim kit/complete kit $3,010 and mhs1 blower cams $595 thats $3605 total there in parts or you could go with hp292 cams for $450 and that would be $3460 total vs $4,999 for the complete intercooled kb kit. So there is a Possible as much as a $1,539 total cost savings in comparison and the budget one would include cams. Just a thought!!

And Im not trying to start a whole centri vs pd argument either OP no matter what type of blower you decide to go with I dont win or lose anything just dropped another option on you that could save you a possible $1500+ bucks thats money in or out of your pocket not mine ya digg?!! take care.

But the complete vortech systems fuel setup won't support that and blower cams, t would make too much power. OP you could do a vortech tuner kit for $2500 then piece the fuel system together and add cams or meth or IC.
