Uh...NO.
Saturns, 1999+ have plastic, equal length intake manifolds, wedged between the firewall and engine block.
People have been tossing 75 shots in there with no problem.
Plastic is VERY resiliant to heat changes and will not crack or explode like a hot glass with cold water in it.

I drive a saturn, and it was the first example I thought of.
The plastics used in intake manifold don't crack due to that. The only reason they could possibly crack is if they take a hammer to it, or get stupid and jet too big of a shot and cause fuel puddling. That'd be one hell of a big shot though.

Not really. Judging someone's knowledge off of their ride is one of the biggest forms of idiocy I know of.
I used to drive a Chevelle with damn near 2000 horses at Edgewater Raceway, and I'd love to hear your theory as to why it cracked (or better yet, proof).
