Can any one tell me the diffrence between a 1996-1998 manifold, and the 99-04 manifolds, whats is the diffrence? I know the new ones have the metal alumunim frotn for coolant, but is there any diffrent hp increases? there has to be something?

hey i just had to end up putting a new intake manifold on my 96 gt because the stock one cracked, it now has the aluminum intake on it, but i haven't really noticed and increase in performance, i think it just re-enforces it a little bit so that it doesn't crack, the town cops have the same engine as mine and they have the same problem with the intake manifolds, so i don't think it adds and hp or performance, but that's my opinion, im only 17 so i may be wrong

the new ones have different size runners for better airflow to match the better flowing (pi) heads 99-04
