Throttle Positioning Sensor ( TPS )
About to change out my stock throttle body with a trick flow 70mm one and it says that I may have to refer to my manual to adjust the tps sensor. I dont have the manual and if I do have to adjust it how do I adjust it and how do I even know if I have to adjust it?

Well i cant amswer all of these questions....however if you get a haynes manual...it will tell you how to if you can. Simply by taking mine off of my 96 cobra i could tell that its a non-adjustable tps due to the tps only moving in one direction. Its mimics the open and close of the throttle blade and no seperate positions to go to. One way...only so far. Also confirmed in the haynes manual...non adjustable. You can take your off and look at it...or check a manual. You can also google search your manual. I found my cobras original manual as well.

The TPS on the '99 through '04 4,6L 2V does not need to be adjusted, and is not adjustable--read more here...
