Where's Border Patrol when you need them. Sorry about your luck man.

I was happy to see that the crushed passenger exhaust pipe was actually a long clamp on tip that came with the Magnapack cat-back. However I e-mailed Magnaflow and they said sorry we won't sell you the exhaust tip separate from the entire kit. The other tips they sell appear to be too short. Any ideas what to do now?

It's good as new! They replaced the entire magnaflow magnapack cat-back and rear bumper assembly. Now hopefully my insurance can get the deductible money back.

Nice choice. And only 30,000 miles. It's just breaking in! I hope you enjoy it? The black paint looks like it's in VERY GOOD shape.

Man , I'm sorry, I was just looking through your thread and saw you got hit. That even made me sick. The good thing is it really doesn't look like any structural damage. Hope this doesn't affect your love for the car? My wifes '04 Mach1 was hit in a parking lot by some idiot with a trailer hitch a while back. We had to fork out almost 500.00. Mainly because we had to pay for it ourselves since the creep left, and I didn't want an aftermarket bumper. But, we still love the Mach.

I would head to a local muffler shop. Most have nice exhaust tips they can fabricate onto the pipes.

It's ok now, I just got it back today from a local Ford bodyshop. They replaced the entire Magnaflow cat-back, so now it's got a fresh set of mufflers, pipes and nice shiny tips. I made out better than before the accident. I was quite surprised they forked out the $699 to replace the system, because the only damaged tip was decently repaired except for two dings. So for two dings on a tip, I got a fresh new exhaust, nice!

Bumper paint job is really good, they matched it well. I kept the old one as a memento, we did the same with the front bumper to my dads old 89 GT that's now long gone.

I'm happy to hear that. Sometimes it works out for the best...Other times no. We have Progressive Ins, they gave us a hard time going to the dealer for repairs when my wifes old Explorer was hit. But, I went to the dealer anyway. They couldn't prevent me from going there anyway. I'm HAPPY for you.
