It could be a couple things, It could be like mine though which I had a bad battery and that made the car want to stall on me. You should go check if your battery is good or not.

I would try cleaning the MAF sensor and EGR valve .2 things that will cause stalling issues

i dont think it would be the battery because the gauge reads good but ill check anyways ....it just happens when i turn the car on she kind of hesitates to turn on sometimes.....ald when i turn her on i hear some type of grind just when i turn her on and the grind sounds like is coming from under the car could it be the transmission ...and if it is the tranna which new tranny do you guys recommend ? thank you for all your help guys.

Are you looking for just a used replacement trans or new???
The only grind I can think of coming from that bottom section is caused by a worn out flywheel.

there is no need to get a new trans, It's either the starter or the flywheel, I'd lean towards the starter not engaging properly
