So i discovered today that my cars blowing white-ish blue smoke out of the right exhaust tip. Its only under harder acceleration, not idle or speeding up slowly. Any guess at what this could be from? some things i checked was the coolant, theres no oil visible in it however it is low, i've also never noticed my oil level dropping however if i get on my car in WOT from about 30-90mph i will smell a little oil but nothing extreme, also the car has 130,000 miles and i believe atleast one of my catalitic converters is "going" bad due to my car smelling like "burnt cats" under acceraltion, not really sure what that smells like just what i've been told when cruizing with a friend in a car behind me
Anybody know what could be causing the smoke?
How can i fix this and what would it cost/involve me doing, if possible i rather do the work myself?
What could happen if problem is ignored, like will there be other damage to engine?
First change the PCV valve and make sure its not just oil blowby, after that if it continues it could be worn out rings or bad valve seals which would be time to rebuild.
