batteries keep dying
I had a battery in my car kept dying took it in and was told it wouldn't hold a charge, so I bought a brand new one. Same problem. If I dont drive the car every day it dies in 2-3 days. Like not enough charge to use power locks even. no lights are staying on alternator was checked and is good, fan wired correctly everything I know to check (not enough obviously) has been checked. any Ideas?

Electrical problems are just the worst. Connect an amp meter to your battery and start pulling fuses one by one to figure out which circuit is the culprit.
My 95 would hog batteries for no reason until I replaced the old stock radio with a spare Alpine head unit we had laying around. Yup - the darn stock radio would draw the battery to nothing over the course of a week. Now I have great tunes and a battery that holds voltage.

Here's a link to the charging system tests from the shop manual--in particular check out the battery drain (aka "dark current") tests...
