Default Man this Sux Quarter Panel Repair

I just got a quote from the local body shop of $3100 to repair a rusted passenger side quarter panel. The rust is just around the wheel well. But they tell me the whole quarter is the way to go rather than patch it.
I never though it would have been that costly of a repair.
Thinking of a plan B now. I only paid 5K for the car.

I should have taken auto body back when I was in HS.

$3100 to repair a rusted passenger side quarter panel..I think it is to costly .you have chosen a wrong auto body shop. There was same problem with me but i just paid around $1500 to Marlow Auto Body shop and they are best in this area. I really recommend you to visit there at once they will definitely solve your problem.

If that price comes with a full repaint I would say they're almost on price depending on the color of your car. Black is hard to work on, red paint is expensive etc. If it is just for the panel repair I would tell them to stuff it and find somewhere else.
