creaking from engine or drivel

i have a 97 4.6 5 speed. when i drive the car hard (above 3,000 rpm's) nailin the gas. there is creaking from underneath the car/hood. anyone else have this problem or know what it could be?????

thats the first thing that i was thinking ... ill replace them and see if it works! thanks for the reply!
