Swapping 4.6L into V6
Hey guys, I have a few questions, I am wanting to swap a 4.6L 3-valve into my '03 mustang V6, but i'm also wanting to rebuild the motor. I'm going to be stripping the block down and rebuilding from bottom end up.
For starts:
Suggestions on boring cylinders, what size, about .030 over?
Where can I find some nice forged pistons for the bored cylinders
I am wanting to install Comp cams Big mother thumper cams, with new rockers, springs, etc, what are some good heads?

For the build on the 4.6L 3V, you'll be better off asking in the S197 forum.
For the V6 part, you'll need to get ready for a lot of wiring under the hood and under the dash, setting up the trans/drive shaft and putting in either a better 7.5" rear or swapping in a 99-04 8.8 out of the GT. You'll also want to beef up the front suspension. The V6 springs are rated differently than the GT versions (due to the weight difference between the two).
