up to you good time for upgrades...but ill say this, id fix your exhaust first...what size is that exhaust? looks massive, and like its been smacking the shock replacing them wont do any good until the exhaust is fixed, if im seeing it right.

yeah I backed into a ditch and slammed the pipe into the shock. its been rubbing it and warping it ever sense. I think I'll just cut the tips and have dumps or custom side exhaust. Its stick exhaust except for the the mufflers welded in.

Definitely upgrade to better shocks, it is always money well spent. Buy the best you can easily afford.
+1 on first fixing the exhaust before you wreck the new shocks too.

i cut my tips off. I dont think ill need to replace the shock after all. I may however go to the junk yard and try to get one for 20$ if i get to worried. It doesnt look so bad with the tips gone.

SXG.... really?

You are going to continue to drive around on shocks/struts with like, what.... 150K miles on them and clearly damaged?!?!?!?!!? You "might" go to the junkyard and spend $20 on some that are probably no better? What kind of driving do you do and is the lack of routine/required maintenance really worth the possible failure of such parts while you are driving down the road?

Not trying to be a hard ***, just wondering why anyone would look to avoid what is 100% normal/required cost to keep ones car safely on the road. Invest in an upgrade of new dampers (forgo replacing the quads and just remove them with a set of new LCA's) and be sure they are a set that meets your ULTIMATE goals

ok so I just want to go OEM them. cant spend a lot of money. just the cheapest OEM set of 2 or 4.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SRS-94-04-FO...5386%26ps%3D54

this still seems to be the best deal going for a set of 4.

springs seems outrageously expensive compared to shocks
