Default Paint Mach 1 chin spoiler White?

Hey guys I have a 2004 mustang gt, white. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen a chin spoiler painted on someones mustang? I was thinking of painting it white just to give it a different look? Just a thought, let me know what you guys think.

I bought one that was painted glossy black by the previous owner. The first thing I did was remove as much paint as I could. He had hit a low curb and bunch of the paint chipped and peeled off.It may not have been prepped correctly though.Either way I think they look better black but to each his own.

IMO, I'd leave it black. The black color on the chin and white paint on your car represent a nice contrast.

Maybe its just the crappy streets around here but I have had my chin spoiler on for 3 months and it already has some "character" I'm lowered 2" also so IDK. I say that as I thought about color matching mine but I'm glad I didn't cause of some of the departure angles of some of the drives around here.lol

I'm sure it would look great painted, but I'd be worried BIG TIME about it's durability.
One good hit or a missed judged curb and you got a big black spot where there was nice white paint and it will stick out like a sour thumb.
Being flexible and all I would make sure who ever painted it put flex additive in the paint like used in rubber or plastic bumpers so it has a little give when bent and flexed.

I have to agree here. Also being from nebraska at anyrate, it doesnt take much on a lowered car to damage that chin spoiler, Id leave it black.
