Possible tranny line to radiator hole messed up
I'm putting in a new radiator in my '99 GT with an automatic tranny and I can't get the lower tranny line to screw into the radiator.
I can't get the line to go in straight and the fitting is so tight on the line I can't screw it by hand to start it, and you need three hands to hold the line, and then try and tighten the fitting. Is it possible the lower tranny line hole in the radiator is messed up?
I'm at the point of cutting the line and installing the fitting and line so I can get a straight shot on it out side the radiator and splicing the line back together with high pressure hose.
What happens if I messed up the fitting hole in the radiator? Can I re thread it?
Thanks for any help.

I'd take a good long look at it and make sure something isn't bound up or a line isn't pinched.
If you think the threads on the radiator are messed up its probably just easier to buy a new one....they're dirt cheap.
