Default Saleen with problems?

I am looking at purchasing upgrading from my supercharged 2002 GT with this Saleen Mustang http://rochester.craigslist.org/cto/2981588464.html I have a couple of concerns though. I went to go and see it today and the guy explained how he had to replace the shocks and gears in the rear end a couple of months ago. He replaced everything will all OEM parts but it seems weird to have shocks changed so early in a vehicles life. It is a 99 so it is an old car. Another concern i had was a little bit of wobbling in the front end like a bearing or a rotor problem. Are these problems common among these cars. Should i look out for anything else?
Thanks guys,
Mike

i have over 100000 on my gt and shocks are still good, but a shocks a shock no big deal, i don't know what was up with his rear end, probably some really hard driving. and wobble in the front end, i would have someone who knows what to look for to check that out cause i had wobble in the front end of my first stang, nd it was because i drove it so hard around coners trying to pop out the tail end i got really bad understeer and kept going strait. i eventually bent something up and got a wobble when driving. it could be something as simple as a rotor but you need to be sure before buying.

Shocks changed on a car that old is a good thing. Especially a car that's probably been driven hard.

The rear going out screams abuse to me. I'd be worried about other things being bent/worn/broken and just waiting to fail on you.

Wobble could be something like a tire out of bal, bent rim from hitting something, bad alignment or something more serious like bent suspension/steering componenets up front.

Just something else to think about... Saleen GREATLY over rated those cars and without mods they don't make even close to that hp.
