Brass fittings for fuel lines?

Brass fittings for fuel lines?
I'm re doing my entire fuel system switching to a in trunk cell and external pump, I have access to a ton of brass fittings and I'm wondering is brass a good material to use in the fuel lines or does it corrode to quick? If brass is no good what material should I use for the fittings
