Xpipe and Service engine light

Default Xpipe and Service engine light

I just installed my xpipe and i do have mil elm. and i was wondering it would trigger the service engine soon light?

If you installed them right it shouldnt be the cause. Get your codes read and post them.

Thats what I'm thinking, its a p2272 pulled the code.

If you have a tuner just shut those O2 sensors off and be done with it. IS it a new X pipe or did you buy it used? Same with the MIL's.....?

P2272 indicates non-switching of the driver's side rear sensor, it could be that the sensor is dead or dying. As they fail the output voltage falls, the MIL eliminators work by further reducing the sensor's output voltage, a combination of a dead/dying sensor and a MIL eliminator would trigger P2272.

I went under the car and make sure everything was plugged in right and no wires twisted etc... reset the light and it came back on 5 miles later guessing its a dead sensor.
