Default please help with wife's mustang gt

my wifes 98 gt is much in need of some shocks and struts. its lowered, pretty low. i think they are H&R springs but they are older, came with the car when she bought it, so not sure, no clear stamp on them. thats why im not sure how to match a set of shocks and struts with springs that im not sure about. is there a more "general" set i could go with that would help the ride and not fight the springs. budget is a big deal so something like a set of bilistiens isnt really an option. thank you guys. the suspension section was no help, i have tried that for about a month now. so please dont move this post, i dont want to be stuck back there.

Ok I'm on eighbach pro kit and with 1 coil cut off of them. When you get really low some people reccomend fox shocks and struts. So I used them on my car and they feel 100 times better than any other made for the 96-98

Trust me and get foxbody tokico adjustable shocks and struts. It's works a lot better also a lot of people do this with really low sn95's. Because shock and strut is a tad bit shorter and has a better length of travel when your sn95 is pretty low (more than 1.75"). But won't feel good/ride good/ fit good if you aren't lowered.

I used them, too. They worked well, especially on a budget.

Yep, I've used them as well. Had them on my 2000 when I went over board with modding the suspension.

Honestly, when you're lowered that much I would be looking at Koni Yellows or Bilstien HD or you'll be disappointed with the handling. I'm using the Tokico blues and they're good, but not the best.
